This summer, an exciting animal exploration journey is about to unfold! From July 12 to August 31, Olympian City and STAYFUN are co-organizing an immersive 'Trainee Animal Keeper' experience, which is also the first stop of the Asian tour, bringing an unprecedented career experience to everyone! During the event, children can learn to take care of 6 different wild animals in 4 animal exploration zones, while enjoying a 'summer job', along with a range of exclusive perks offered by Olympian City!

The animal exploration zones feature life-like animals from different parts of the world, including a 4.5-meter-tall dynamic giraffe, a 2.8-meter-tall dynamic African elephant, a 1:1 scale giant hippopotamus, as well as a young panda from Sichuan that feels and weighs just like the real thing, adorable koalas and kangaroos symbolic of Australia, and more. Some of the animals are even capable of making sounds, offering children an immersive and engaging experience as they take on the role of animal keepers. We are also honored to have Dr. Song Yiqi, an expert in animal ecology and adjunct assistant professor at Lingnan University, serving as an advisor for the event. Through this exploration and play, children can learn about life education, animal habits and knowledge, cultivate teamwork spirit, and understand the importance of animal conservation and ecological balance.

The event is now recruiting trainee animal keepers aged 4-10. All participants will receive a dedicated staff pass, which allows them to wear keeper uniforms and work in the 4 animal exploration zones. Upon completion of all 4 work internships, they will be awarded an 'Animal Keeper Certificate' and become official staff, receiving a HK$50 Olympian City food voucher.

Participants will earn a reward coin for each completed internship. These coins can be used to randomly obtain limited-edition animal memorial cards. To encourage our young employees, we have also prepared an employee incentive plan. By purchasing designated combo tickets or completing tasks, participants can collect a certain number of memorial cards and have the chance to 'work for accommodation' to redeem a stay at the Hong Kong Marine Park Hotel, or 'work for a trip' to win an Ocean Park ticket to visit the animals in person. After completing the work experience in one of the animal exploration zones, trainee animal keepers can adopt a baby panda for just HK$99. The 'Trainee Animal Keeper' immersive recruitment activity invites children aged 4-10 to take on a 'summer job', featuring 4 animal exploration zones with 6 simulated wild animals: a 4.5-meter-tall dynamic giraffe, a 1:1 scale hippopotamus, a 2.8-meter-tall African elephant and baby elephant, adorable pandas from Sichuan, and kangaroos and koalas from Australia. Children will get to wear exclusive keeper uniforms, interact with the animals up close, and take memorable photos. They will also learn about animal ecology in a fun and engaging way from professional animal keepers, making it an educational and entertaining exploration journey!

4 Wild Animal Exploration Zones:

Animal Exploration Zone 1: African Savanna

In this zone, trainee animal keepers will encounter a 4.5-meter-tall dynamic giraffe, a 2.5-meter-tall baby giraffe, and a 1:1 scale hippopotamus, offering a truly immersive work experience. Professional keepers will provide detailed explanations about the giraffe's ecological environment, behavior habits, and unique physiological characteristics such as blood pressure and heart rate, as well as insights into the hippopotamus' habitat and lifestyle.

Trainee animal keepers will be assigned professional tasks, such as checking the giraffe's foot health, measuring its blood pressure and heart rate, and examining and cleaning the hippopotamus' teeth, allowing them to gain basic animal care knowledge.

Animal Exploration Zone 2: Panda Bamboo Grove

In this zone, ultra-lifelike panda mom and baby panda from Sichuan will warmly welcome our young keepers. Under the guidance of professional keepers, trainee animal keepers will learn about the diet and lifestyle of giant pandas.

Through teamwork, participants will prepare nutritious meals for the pandas and decorate their habitat. They will also learn how to carefully take care of the baby panda, understanding the importance of animal conservation and ecological balance.

Animal Exploration Zone 3: Australian Rainforest

As they venture into the rainforest, trainee animal keepers will meet a heartwarming kangaroo family and adorable koala friends, discovering their living environment and habits.

Participants can hold the baby koalas, carefully examine their physical condition, and record their weight. They will also get to wear a pouch, just like a kangaroo mom, and experience the touching moments of caring for a baby kangaroo, connecting with nature and understanding the beauty of life.

Animal Exploration Zone 4: Elephant Habitat

Witness the majestic sight of a 2.8-meter-tall dynamic African elephant and its baby calf strolling leisurely.

Trainee animal keepers will learn about the relationship between an elephant's body size and age, while gently brushing the baby elephant's skin, maintaining their habitat, and helping with food transportation. Through this experience, they will develop teamwork skills and a collaborative spirit.

The event features an 'Employee Reward Plan' to encourage trainee animal keepers to actively complete the animal exploration activities.
